Caransa Groep B.V. sells office and laboratory building SL Plaza in Leiden to the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund

The ASR Dutch Science Park Fund has acquired the office and laboratory building SL Plaza from Caransa Groep B.V. This building, located at Darwinweg 24, is located in a prominent location in the Leiden Bio Science Park, right next to Leiden University, Leiden University of Applied Sciences and the LUMC.
SL Plaza comprises approximately 2,200 m² of office space, 3,900 m² of laboratories (ML2) and has 83 parking spaces on site. The tenants of the building include Leiden University of Applied Sciences and three biopharmaceutical companies: Eurofins, Charles River and Pharming. The building is fully let and contributes to the dynamic community of the Leiden Bio Science Park, which is known as one of the most important life sciences hotspots in Europe.
Leiden Bio Science Park is the most developed knowledge cluster in the Netherlands in the field of life sciences and healthcare. The location offers a unique blend of education, research and business, with excellent connections for employees and visitors.
The seller, Caransa Groep B.V., was commercially advised by CBRE in this transaction. Cushman & Wakefield represented the A.S.R. Dutch Science Park Fund in this transaction.
